Annual Health and Medical Records for All Participants

Annual Health and Medical Records
Annual Health and Medical Records for All Participants
A reminder to all parents and unit leaders that right now is the perfect time to review your existing Annual Health and Medical Records (AHMR) on file for your Scouts AND participating members of their family.
The Scouting adventure, camping trips, high-adventure excursions, and having fun are important to everyone in Scouting—and so is your safety and well-being.  Completing the Annual Health and Medical Record is the first step in making sure you have a great Scouting experience. Camp is right around the corner and you’ll need updated AHMRs to attend.
You’ll need…
  • Parts A & B – For all events/all participants less than 72 hours in duration.
  • Parts A, B & C – For events/resident camps lasting 72 hours or more.
  • Risk Advisory – Don’t forget the Risk Advisory for each of the High Adventure Bases. This should be reviewed with your healthcare provider at the time of your pre-participation exam.
Pro Tip: download and save the fillable AHMR PDF so you can make easy updates each year. Those, along with some FAQs, can be found at https://www.scouting.org/health-and-safety/ahmr/.
