Bobby Gregory receives the Medal of Merit
On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 Bobby Gregory, Troop 444, Revielle United Methodist Church, received the Medal of Merit. Bobby was recognized for the assistance he rendered when his uncle fell 15 feet from a tree stand during a deer hunting trip in Buckingham County. The Richmond Times Dispatch included an article in their October 6, 2011 local news section that details the incident and how Bobby’s Boy Scout First Aid training played such a pivotal role ensuring that Robbie Patterson’s injuries were treated appropriately prior to the arrival of the first responders. Congratulations to Bobby for receiving this award and to Mr. Patterson on his full recover.
