Please join us to officially welcome Morgan Harrell into the
Heart of Virginia Council Scouting family!
My name is Morgan Harrell, and I am the new District Executive for the Battlefield and Rivers district in the Heart of Virginia Council. I am a recent graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Environmental Studies. Prior to being hired by the Heart of Virginia Council, I worked for the VA Department of Conservation and Recreation in their Youth Conservation Corps program. I was able to help build trails, kayak racks, and fire pads. I was told that Order of the Arrow also does projects like what I did for the Youth Conservation Corps, so I’m excited to learn more about the OA.
I’m also excited to learn and work for this great organization that guides its youth members to live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law. I’m looking forward to meeting and building strong relationships with diverse volunteers in my district area and meeting everyone!
