Scout Sunday 2022
The primary date for Scout Sunday is Sunday, February 6th, the Sunday immediately preceding the Scouting Anniversary Day on February 8th. There are exceptions to this date, with chartered organizations having the ability to choose a Sunday that best suits their congregation. This special day is meant for Scouts to give back to their chartered organizations who so generously give to their unit throughout the year. For some, this is an opportunity to attend service in uniform, and for others it includes service projects, the singing of songs, the presentation of religious emblems and awards, and more.

Units can pre-order official Scout Sunday 2022 patches by sending an email to the Scout Shop at scoutshop@scoutingva.org or visiting us in person. The cost is $3.50 per patch.

Cub Scout Pack 2835 observes Scout Sunday by volunteering to hand out church bulletins, lead the opening flag ceremony, and make collections. As you can see, they have a lot of helpful and reverent Scouts attend service that day!
