Service to other people is what Scouting is all about. In many ways, your service project reflects who you are as a youth leader. Your result should be of significant impact in your community to be special, and should represent your very best effort.
Eagle Scout candidates are required to complete all Eagle Scout requirements including the Citizenship in Society merit badge. Council will be responsible for verifying the Eagle Scout candidate and their completion of the requirements.

The Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award (ESSPY) recognizes valuable service of an exceptional nature by an Eagle Scout candidate to a religious institution, school, community or other entity through completion of an Eagle Scout project.

A great way to honor your Eagle Scout is to sponsor a personally engraved Eagle Brick. Eagle bricks are placed at the Hill Family Flag Plaza, a special pavilion in front of the T. Brady Saunders dining hall overlooking Lake Dillon.
