The Heart of Virginia Council continues its tradition of providing this event free of charge for the 2025 Eagle Scout, two guests, and the Eagle Scout’s Scoutmaster which will be underwritten with generous sponsorships by many Scout Alumni, Chartered Organizations, Scouting supporters, and local businesses. Each sponsorship is a tax-deductible contribution that directly supports each Eagle Scout with their Eagle kit including certificate, medal, badge, and pins free of charge.
Family members, Scout Leaders, and Eagle Scout Alumni are encouraged to attend this very special program to recognize the young men and women of the Eagle Scout Class of 2025. The event includes a special commencement address from a keynote speaker, recognitions of the Scouts of the 2025 Eagle Class, Adams Service Project of the Year Award, Eagle Class honoree and National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA).
2025 Eagle Class Honoree, Chuck Sullivan
Each year the Eagle Class is named after someone who, through their encouragement and example, has fostered an environment to enable Scouts to attain Scouting’s highest honor. This year’s honoree is lifelong Scouter, Chuck Sullivan.
Event Details
Eagle Scouts attending their Eagle Scout Commencement will receive a special embroidered sling pack for their continuing adventures.
Acceptance into the Eagle Honor Guard is a prestigious honor and includes a limited-edition, commemorative Life to Eagle Honor Guard patch.
Attire: Attire for Eagle Scout Commencement is full field (Class A) uniform. Eagles will be on stage as part of the program and excellent photo opportunities will be available throughout the event. Other guests may wear Scout uniform or business casual attire.
