Bring a Friend to Scouts Weeks
April 12th – 25th

Have your friends attend your Scout meeting the weeks of April 12th through 25th and earn this FUN PATCH!

When your friend joins… you’ll start collecting five LEGENDARY BUDDIES, pins you can place wherever you’d like on your patch.  Plus, you’ll earn your RECRUITER PATCH.

For each buddy that attends a meeting by May 29th, you’ll be entered into a drawing for an AWESOME POCKETKNIFE (one Scout per District will be chosen).  For each friend that joins, the Scoutw ill have their name entered into a drawing for a FREE SUMMER CAMP EXPERIENCE!

Alien

Straight from another galaxy and ready for adventure. Alien is curious about everything—from campfire songs to knot tying—and is always asking, “What’s next?” Don’t worry, they learn fast.

Bigfoot

The forest’s most famous friend (when you can find him). Bigfoot is a quiet trailblazer who knows every path, every shortcut, and every secret campsite. He may be hard to spot—but he always shows up for his crew.  Have you seen him  out at Camp?

Chupacabra

Small, speedy, and full of mischief, Chupacabra is the ultimate night explorer. Whether it’s tracking sounds in the woods or sneaking the last marshmallow, this little legend keeps things exciting.

Mothman

Drawn to light and big adventures, Mothman keeps watch from above. With sharp eyes and silent wings, they’re always looking out for the crew—and guiding the way when it matters most.

Scout

The heart of the crew. Brave, helpful, and always ready to try something new, the Scout brings everyone together. Because every great adventure starts with someone who says, “Let’s go.”

All units are encouraged to have a fun activity planned for the week of April 12^th–25^th where Scouts can invite a friend to participate.  Let Scouts know about the great prizes that they can win! 

All Scouts who have a Friend who visits a meeting will receive:

1. An awesome Bring a Friend to Scouts
2. Their name will be entered in a drawing to win a Pocketknife of their choice from the Scout Shop. One Scout in each district will win a pocketknife.

When a visiting friend joins, the Scout who invited them will receive:

1. A character pin that will go on the patch. (Collect all 5 pins, no time limit)
2. Recruiter Strip Patch
3. Their name will be put in a drawing that will take place on May 29 for a Free Summer Camp One Scout will win in the Council.

Prizes for Scouts who sign up:

1. Cub Scouts will receive a foam rocket.
2. Scouts BSA / Venturing / Sea Scouts will receive a hot spark fire starter or a Jibbitz.
