The Christopher Corcoran Cub Adventure Camp Maintenance Fund
For many years, Mr. Corcoran was active in the Heart of Virginia Council Scouting community, serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 715, merit badge counselor, member of the Cardinal District Committee, Unit Commissioner and an Assistant Roundtable Commissioner. He was instrumental in the development of Cub Adventure Camp. For his dedication to Scouting in the Richmond area, Chris was selected to receive the Cardinal District Award of Merit in 1999 and the Silver Beaver Award in 2003. His son, Ryan, and grandson are registered members of Pack 772.
The family requested that donations for the Heart of Virginia Council in Chris’ memory be directed and restricted to the Cub Adventure Camp Maintenance fund, to help ensure the continuation of the Scouting experience for generations to come, at the facility Chris loved so much.
