Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Support Documents
The Heart of Virginia Council is committed to providing resources to help Scout leaders, parents, and Scouts have a rewarding and positive Scouting experience. In addition to the Autism support resources shown below, the Council maintains autism references and videos at the Heart of Virginia Council service center where leaders have the opportunity to research or check out. These resources are maintained at the reception area. Take some time to review the resources shown below, because they offer a lot of good information about how you can support and encourage Scouts on the autism spectrum.
