2013 National Jamboree Contingent
Registrations are now being accepted for Boy Scouts and Venturers to be a part of the 2013 Heart of Virginia Council National Jamboree Contingent. Scouting For Food bag collection is Saturday Nov. 3rd
Remind your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers that Scouting For Food bags out day is Saturday October 27th and collection day is Saturday, November 3rd. Use social media to spread the word as well. Make sure your same Scouts collecting bags cover the routes they covered the Saturday bags were distributed so they can see the results of their efforts. …(more)
Bobby Gregory receives the Medal of Merit
On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 Bobby Gregory, Troop 444, Revielle United Methodist Church, received the Medal of Merit. Bobby was recognized for the assistance he rendered when his uncle fell 15 feet from a tree stand during a deer hunting trip in Buckingham County.
