The Heart of Virginia 2011 Council Recognition Night was held Thursday, March 22, 2012. The Gala featured a program of entertainment with a reception following the event. The Council’s highest volunteer recognition, the Silver Beaver Award, was presented to deserving Scouters. Adult volunteers were recognized for their work done during the 2011 Scouting year. Also, Scouts who earned the Eagle Rank during 2011 were honored. The pictures below are a good indication of how much everyone enjoyed themselves at this event.
